Happy Cyber Monday! I’m sure a lot of y’all are shopped out…. but I wanted to share a few more sales that are ending tonight. I actually save all my shopping for Cyber Monday…. not sure why but I do haha! For today’s post, I wanted to share a couple things I’ll be purchasing (trying to keep it minimal this year!) as well as my top favorite retailers that are having awesome sales. I rounded up a FULL list of all retailers I love last week in this post if you want to see other stores and categories that are having sales.

Welcome to week 2 of gift guides. Did y’all catch last weeks? A few weeks ago I did a poll on what price points y’all typically stay within. I know a huge portion of my following is college-aged so the majority vote was $50 and under. Completely understandable because that’s what I stay within when gifting for family and friends. I spent the last week scouring the internet for the cutest items under $50. This is one for the girl, and one for the guy will be coming soon. [Read more…]

I gotta say, I love these photos. I don’t know if it’s the trees, the vest, the shoes, or the backpack, but I love this winter outfit and everything about it. I’m preparing to run full force into the holiday and winter season. It gets really cold in Lubbock but the wind is what actually kills you. It’s awful and half the time I feel like I am going to honestly get blown away haha.
When I was first moving to Lubbock, we had heard that Winters are brutal. Not because of snow really (we only get about a day or two of snow) but that the wind gets so bad. Well now I’ve lived here three years and I can attest that YES winter in Lubbock is hard because of our wind. I’ve also shared that it tends to flood easily here as well. So, rain boots and resistant boots are a girls best friend come December-February. [Read more…]
We’ve come to the END of October!!! This is always a busy month of midterms, projects, and getting my blog content ready for the holidays. I think I mentioned last week but we’ve been getting a cold front in Lubbock and it’s been super cold lately. Josh loves the cold while me on the other hand would rather be somewhere warm and sunny haha. But I do like the cold weather to an extent. I love love love layering pieces and Fall is the start of it! [Read more…]
