As summer and summer fashion are coming to an end, I wanted to share one last look with y’all before I completely go crazy with all the boots, jackets, and leggings galore. Not gonna lie, I’ve had these photos for two months, ready to go up. But, this tank is originally from LOFT and each time it restocks it sells out in like 2 minutes. I always try to take photos and create posts with items in stock and as I’ve waited and waited I decided oh well haha. I can’t be uploading this summer look in December haha!
So, here we are. My last summer fun outfit. I’ll be linking similar multi stripe tank options in this post. But let’s talk stripes. I’ve always loved stripes, they’re fun and a simple print. But, multi-colored stripes is a whole other ball game. Y’all know I love color, but this much color can be intimidating. When I saw this top, I thought it was absolutely beautiful. The colors are gorgeous and I liked how it had a white base so I knew I could pair white shorts and jeans with it. I was a little hesitant but this top became one of my summer favorites. That’s why I’m so sad it’s no longer available for y’all! As we move into fall, I’m excited to find some autumn colored multi-striped blouses. They really are fun and again add a pop of color to your look.
I announced some new exciting things for myself in this post. So I’ve truly been looking forward to starting fall semester and getting my senior year done. But, a part of me is melancholy that summer is over. I grew to love Lubbock even more, I was away from Josh and while I hated the long distance, it was so nice to have my ‘me’ time constantly and put my health and exercise first, no one was here except my best friend and I, and I was able to knock out 15 hours of class, an internship, and continue my blog. It was a really great summer, a summer I know I will always cherish. I’m also really thankful for having a girls summer. Next summer, I’ll be working full time and won’t be living with my friends so I tried to soak in every minute of quiet nights with my best friends. It was the most amazing summer and I don’t want to say goodbye.
Though, God has a plan and that’s what I always set my mine towards. Trusting in him. To end this on a happy note, y’all I think I’ve slept 3 hours the past couple of nights. I got my cat, Coco (if you’re new to the blog I am obsessed with her! She is my little angel and very spoiled!) a new collar. It’s adorable and pink, with a girly flower. But, it has a bell. Oh lord have mercy the bell. Coco is not really a night cat like some. She stays on my schedule and always understands when I say it’s bedtime and she will sleep through the night and get up early with me. But for some reason she has not been sleeping at night and thinks it’s playtime all of a sudden when I turn my lights off. That bell is so loud and I haven’t been able to sleep haha. I get so frustrated one minute and yell at her and want to throw her outside (I’m big on my sleep ahah!) and then I also think it’s hilarious and start laughing. It’s been quite the adventure and we’ve been having some serious talks about how she needs to get back on schedule. I know this sounds crazy lol but she is a smart girl and definitely understands me! So, I’m praying she sleeps tonight or I’m tossing that collar. #catmomprobs
Thanks for reading today’s post! xx

Color stripes are a totally different thing. So great! Stripes are literally so classic and so easy to wear. I’m glad you don’t have to do long distance anymore!
